Singer-songwriter Ji-cheon returned with the new song "Fresh Love."
The new song "Fresh Love" is a city pop–style track that blends Ji-cheon's sweet, soothing voice over a rhythmic beat, adding pop elements to his previously presented emotional sound to complete a more varied charm. In particular, Taiwanese singer-songwriter Lily Lu participated in the chorus, adding a global sensibility.
Producer Lee Myung-jae, who worked on Baechigi's "My East Wind," Kinetic Flow's "For lovers 2% short of reality," and MC Sniper's "To be," took charge of production to raise the level of perfection. He said, "For this new song 'Fresh Love,' we tuned the vocal tone and the grain of the rhythm together from the early stages of sound making so Ji-cheon's bright and warm energy could come out most naturally," and added, "We focused on the 'flutter' Ji-cheon wanted to express, keeping it from feeling heavy while not letting it slip by easily."
The music video released along with the song was filmed in nature that harmonizes with an autumn mood and was produced in a live video format that highlights Ji-cheon's clean voice and warm atmosphere.
Ji-cheon has presented refined melodies and solid messages with every release, including "Hae-hang," the "Modular Family" OST, the "New Recruit" OST, "Hwalgwal (drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines" OST, sung by Hwang So-yoon)," "I'm Ready," and "Fallin'." His songs are also rising on various music charts and YouTube playlists.
This single "Fresh Love" was selected as Ruby Records' "Label Pick" and will be available on all domestic music sites at noon on the 12th.
