Jang Won-young of the group IVE is reported to have purchased a luxury low-rise apartment in the UN Village in Hannam-dong, Seoul, for 13.7 billion won.
According to the real estate industry and Korea Economy TV on the 12th, Jang Won-young bought one 244-square-meter (about 74 pyeong) unit at Lucid House in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on Mar. in a 13.7 billion won deal.
Title registration was completed in Apr., and given that no separate maximum-amount mortgage is recorded in the certified copy of the registry, it is presumed to have been an all-cash purchase. The seller is Lee Ji-yong, a second-generation member of the broader DL Group and former CEO of DAELIM TRADING.
Lucid House is considered a top-tier low-rise apartment even within the UN Village. In a location with sweeping views of the Han River and Namsan, there are only 15 units across two buildings.
It is also where actor Kim Tae-hee lived before marrying singer-actor Rain. Jang Won-young is called the elementary schoolers' president and a Gen Z icon, and is taking on various commercial shoots. IVE recently kicked off its third world tour, "Show What I Am," in Seoul.
