'I Am SOLO' season 28 contestant Sangcheol exploded at Sunja, who crossed the line.
On the 12th broadcast, SBS Plus·ENA variety show 'I Am SOLO' (hereinafter 'I Am SOLO') showed Sangcheol from season 28 enduring Sunja's provocation.
That day Sunja tested Sangcheol's feelings and asked, "If today Jeongsuk had seen it and told you to go on the date on your own, what do you think would have happened?" Sangcheol expressed confidence, "Then Jeongsuk would have chosen me in the final. Isn't that obvious?"
Sunja then said, "That's why people say you're an easy man. When people feel it's not right, they draw a line. Out of consideration for the other person," and Sangcheol shot back, "I drew the line."
Sangcheol also said, "I told Jeongsuk I don't want a substitute for a pheasant with a chicken. They told me they'd go if Mr. Yeongsu turned them down, so I said I don't want a substitute," explaining his position. In response Sunja provoked, "How many people have you been rejected by? Hyunsuk, Jeongsuk?"
Sunja went on to say, "How does it feel to be constantly rejected and pushed aside by Yeongsu's women without reason?," and "Why do you seem like a punching bag?" Sangcheol held back, saying, "You say I'm a punching bag," but Sunja insisted, "You're being hit here and there; it's not hard hitting but a punching bag."
Even though Sangcheol said he was hurt, Sunja crossed the line with, "Everyone's second choice, everyone's substitute pheasant." Eventually Sangcheol exploded, saying, "Don't make my image like that," and "Act like that and you'll get divorced. If you talk about my past, that's it. You need to stop. Just because I accepted everything, do you think that's all there is?"
When Sunja said she was scary, Sangcheol added, "So don't cross the line." Watching this, Defconn lamented, "That's a signal to stop. If you keep taking it as a joke... that also has to be limited."
