ITZY held a countdown live for their new mini album "TUNNEL VISION" and celebrated their comeback with fans.
ITZY released their new album "TUNNEL VISION" and the title track of the same name at 6 p.m. on Nov. 10. At 5 p.m., they held a countdown live on the JYP Entertainment official YouTube channel and interacted with global MIDZY (fandom name: MIDZY).
Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna shared on the countdown live, "It's our first comeback in five months. 'TUNNEL VISION' is an album we prepared with the thought of 'we hope it can lead into a tour.' We and MIDZY probably share the same excitement and anticipation." They added, "It's been nearly three years since we've toured as a full group, and thinking about meeting fans makes us hope the world tour will start soon. ITZY's new album traces the process of finding their own light and identity across six tracks, starting with track 1 "Focus," followed by the title track "TUNNEL VISION," "DYT," "Flicker," "Nocturne," and "8-BIT HEART." As of 9 a.m. on the 11th, the new release reached No. 1 on the iTunes top albums chart in nine regions, including Malaysia and New Zealand. The music video, filmed in Prague, Czech Republic, stimulates repeat plays with its vivid visual effects, the members' unreal visuals and multidimensional direction. The "TUNNEL VISION" music video proved the hot comeback fever by ranking No. 1 on YouTube music video trending worldwide on the morning of the 11th.
Meanwhile, ITZY will continue the momentum with abundant album promotions. From the 11th to the 17th, they will open a "TUNNEL VISION" pop-up store in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for a week, offering various attractions.
