Actor Oh Jung-se returns with another new face through the new drama 'Fifties Professionals'.
Oh Jung-se appears in MBC's new drama '오십프로(Fifties Professionals)'(planned by Kwon Seong-chang / directed by Han Dong-hwa / written by Jang Won-seop / produced by Jumbo Film, Studio Dragon), a story about three men who seemed ordinary but still had some spark being set in motion again by fate, a salty action comedy about real pros who ran 50% of their lives whose bodies may have rusted from being beaten by the world but whose loyalty and instincts remain unchanged.
In the drama, Oh Jung-se plays the role of a special operative who has lost his memory, 'Bong Je-sun'. Once known as 'Bulgae', North Korea's top human weapon, he suffered an unforeseen accident during an operation and was washed up on Yeongseon Island, and the story will depict him searching for his lost memories while suffering identity confusion and workplace harassment from his boss.
Oh Jung-se, who has shown a diverse range of faces regardless of genre in every project he appears in and completed compelling characters, recently played the brutal, heinous villain 'Min Ju-young' in the drama Good Boy, and after hinting at a comic acting transformation as the once chart-topping ballad prince 'Choi Seong-gon' and confirming his role in the film Wild Thing, curiosity is already rising about what face he will show in 'Fifties Professionals'.
Meanwhile, 'Fifties Professionals' is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2026.<
