Based on a new direction of story-centered AI content and an approach that uses AI technology as a creative partner to expand AI narratives, the AI dramas "Soon, night falls" and "Soon, heading to work," each composed of 10 five-minute episodes, are drawing attention as a new format of seasonal AI dramas that surpass the limitations of the AI content market.
Recently, as various content such as video, music, webtoons and games based on generative AI has spread, the industry has entered what it calls the The Great AI Narrative Era. However, compared with the speed of technological advancement, critics have pointed to shortcomings in the completeness and narrative depth of AI content and less delicate emotional expression. In particular, while the difficulty of sustaining story continuity and advancing characters—essential for producing IP that expands a seasonal universe—has been cited as a current market challenge, EO Contents Group's AI dramas present a new alternative: building a sustainable content production process using AI.
"Soon, night falls" is a suspense thriller set in a prison that presents a solid, cohesive universe and story over 10 episodes. From the planning and refinement stage, an AI deep learning process was applied to design AI humans that learn actual actors' facial muscle and expression data to realize natural emotional acting. This process was implemented as a K-AI cinematic format in which AI and human creators participate together in production.
EO Contents Group has completed a production system that can rapidly and continuously expand a "seasonal AI drama" IP by combining the sophistication of human storytelling and the scalability of AI technology based on the attractive, solid original story IP it has built over the past several years, with the motto of AI content that starts from story rather than technology.
