The younger brother of ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo took the stage at a conference as an AI expert.
Lee Dong-hwi, Cha Eun-woo's younger brother, appeared as a speaker alongside Jo Yong-min, CEO of Unbound Lab, at a lecture titled "AI recipe: AI made for my brother evolves into a brand verification tool" at the "AI Summit Seoul and Expo 2025" held on the 10th.
Lee Dong-hwi is reported to have recently lectured on AI data crawling models, a hot topic in the entertainment industry. An AI data crawling model is a technology that automatically collects and extracts data from websites and other sources and converts it so AI models can use it immediately.
On its session introduction page, AI Summit Seoul explained, "Researcher Lee Dong-hwi conducts research and advisory work on AIX projects for corporations for AIX bolt-on and roll-up specialized investments within Unbound Lab's investment team, and as a media major he has carried out marketing projects at Cheil Worldwide and FunTai."
Lee Dong-hwi is reported to have explored efficiencies in solving niche management problems by industry with various combinations of foundation models and addressed their application as a brand verification engine. He is evaluated to have shared a case in which an experiment that began as a personal motivation, "AI for my brother," expanded into a productizable direction usable for venture investment and corporate advisory.
Known as Cha Eun-woo's younger brother, Lee Dong-hwi graduated from Fudan University in China, worked at a well-known domestic advertising company, and later joined Unbound Lab. He briefly appeared on tvN's You Quiz on the Block in June, drawing attention, and last December he appeared on tvN's variety show Finland Shared Rental, which Cha Eun-woo also appeared on, creating a buzz.
