'Model Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel (about 860,000 subscribers) was hacked and then deleted, an unprecedented incident occurred.
In the early hours of the 10th, a coin-related live broadcast titled "Brad Garlinghouse CEO's growth forecast" was streamed on Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel, startling fans. The video contained cryptocurrency market outlooks and coin investment content, and was entirely unrelated to the beauty and life content that Han Hye-jin had planned and appeared in herself.
During the live stream the comment function was restricted, and fans who found this strange rushed to her social media and left urgent comments such as "Unni, your YouTube was hacked," "A strange ripple broadcast was uploaded," and "The channel was just deleted!" to alert others to the situation.
Afterward, users who accessed the channel could only see the message "This has been removed for violating YouTube community guidelines." Ultimately, Han Hye-jin's channel with 860,000 subscribers was completely deleted.
On the same day Han Hye-jin posted an official statement on her social media. She said, "In the early morning of Nov. 10, I learned in the morning that a coin-related live broadcast was streamed on my channel," and noted, "I have filed an appeal with YouTube and taken all measures to restore it." She added, "The problematic broadcast is unrelated to me or the production team, and I hope no one suffered damage because of that broadcast."
She also said, "I made each piece of content with care, so it's heartbreaking and bewildering that it disappeared in an instant," and added, "I'm sorry for causing concern, and I will do my best to the end to restore the channel."
Fans responded, "I can't believe a channel with 860,000 subscribers disappeared overnight," "I was impressed by how passionately she made content; I hope it gets restored," and "YouTube's account security system needs to be strengthened urgently," sending messages of support.
