Actor Han Hye-jin said the series "Because there is no next life" made her reflect on her own married life.
On the afternoon of the 10th at the Stanford Hotel Korea in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul, a production presentation was held for TV CHOSUN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Because there is no next life." Actors Kim Hee-seon, Han Hye-jin, Jin Seo-yeon, Yoon Park, Heo Joon-seok and Jang In-seop attended the presentation and talked.
"Because there is no next life" is a comic coming-of-age drama about three 41-year-old friends exhausted by the same daily routine, the battles of raising children and treadmill-like work life, stumbling into various situations for a better "complete life."
In the drama, Han Hye-jin plays Gu Joo-young, the head of planning at an art center who seems to have everything perfect but is married to an asexual husband and makes every effort to have a child.
When asked what she hoped to convey to viewers through her character, she said, "When you are married, a lot of the tension dulls, and in some ways selfish demands and putting what I want first can happen, so this drama made me reflect a lot on myself."
She added, "I reflected a lot through Jooyoung, thinking, 'Did I put my demands before trying to understand that person?' I realized through the drama that by understanding each other and respecting what the other person values, things can be restored and married life can be beautifully built."
Meanwhile, "Because there is no next life" premieres tonight (the 10th) at 10 p.m.<
