Actor Lee Kwang-soo expressed his ambitions as an actor.
On the 10th at the Yongsan I'Park Mall CGV in Seoul, the press screening and press conference for the film "Na Honja Prince" (director Kim Seong-hoon, presented by Jerry Good Company, distributed by CJ CGV·Jerry Good Company, produced by Jerry Good Company·Movie Company Ichang, co-produced by Westworld·HB Entertainment) were held.
"Na Honja Prince" is a survival comic romance film about Asian prince "Kang Jun-woo" (Lee Kwang-soo), who is left alone in a foreign land without his manager, passport or a single cent.
Lee Kwang-soo, who gave a passionate performance as top star Kang Jun-woo, the "Asian prince," explained, "Rather than showing my natural self, I thought if I dressed Kang Jun-woo in the image viewers are familiar with of me, they might be more forgiving of the comedy. I mixed in elements of my appearances on variety shows and other TV so he would feel more familiar."
He added, "What resonated with me in Kang Jun-woo's lines was that even he, from his position as a top star, might worry about losing his status. He feels anxiety that someone might take his place and he might disappear," and said, "Rather than that burden, I'm thankfully busy with work. I haven't felt like I was so exhausted that I wanted to leave somewhere."
He continued, "I really like working and I tend to get energy from being on set. I don't think I've ever truly felt exhausted. I do have the desire for this busyness to continue," he said, drawing attention.
