ITZY (있지) will release their new mini album TUNNEL VISION and the title track of the same name on Nov. 10 and make a comeback.
The new record, coming about five months after the June album Girls Will Be Girls, centers on the keyword "immersion," and contains a deeper narrative, a rich variety of musical genres and an organic flow. The new album, which includes the title track TUNNEL VISION as well as Focus, DYT, Flicker, Nocturne and 8-BIT HEART for a total of six songs, raised its level of completion by listing all members in the credits following U.S. composer-producer Dem Jointz and K-pop leading producer KENZIE.
The title track TUNNEL VISION conveys the message of following the light at my own pace from the immersion I chose, dangerously crossing between overheated senses and sensory blocking in tunnel vision. It is a dance track built on a damped hip-hop beat and brass sounds that convey weight, with layered vocal sounds that maximize the sonic sense.
Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna directly share stories about the new album, which will satisfy the five senses, and the title track of the same name, "TUNNEL VISION," ahead of the release.

Q. Tell us how you feel about releasing a new album and making a comeback about five months after the June release Girls Will Be Girls.
ITZY: First, we are really happy to be releasing a new album and we want to meet our fans as soon as possible. We hope people think, "ITZY can do this, too," seeing a different yet cool side of us. Please look forward to an ITZY that has leveled up since before! Also, since we are coming back in November, we hope to earn the tagline "ITZY for the year-end performances!" (laughs)
Q. Since debut you have presented music that honestly tells stories about the "self," and the new record also contains a flow of confronting the inner self and discovering me. Please describe this album, which contains various stories and moods, in one word or sentence.
Yeji: If I had to express it in one word, it would be "dream." I wanted to capture how sincere we are in our songs, performance and stages, and the feelings of wanting to do well every time we prepare an album — the messages we wanted to convey. Our goal is for many people to immerse themselves in and enjoy our music.
Ryujin: "Destination." ITZY's message has mainly been about confidence — loving myself. This album contains the idea of looking at my goal and running toward it. I think it's a continuation from the beginning and the message, so it might be the destination.
Chaeryeong: "Immersion." To be more specific, isn't it the feeling of loving yourself while you're focused when a goal appears?
Q. The title track TUNNEL VISION emphasizes "immersion" as a main keyword. If the members each have a field they've been most absorbed in recently, what would it be? Also, who showed the "end of immersion" while preparing this album?
Lia: All the members, including me, were absorbed in the comeback. We worked hard to prepare and wanted to show a cool side.
Ryujin: I think I've been absorbed in OTT series and movies. The member who showed the "end of immersion" is Yeji unnie! She even bleached her hair and worked hard to show a new look for this album.
Chaeryeong: Lately I've been pouring a lot of effort into self-improvement that feels like a hobby. Time seems to pass so quickly that I wanted to spend it more fruitfully and meaningfully.
Q. If you were to describe the title track TUNNEL VISION in one word, what would it be? Also, name a listening point that shows what charm the song has.
Yeji: "Restraint." It feels like a song that gives tension just before an explosion. The perilous atmosphere amplifies its charm.
Lia: "Aura." You can feel charisma when TUNNEL VISION is raw. I think my narration "Focus" is a key listening point. (laughs)
Ryujin: I think the point is that the five members' personalities are shown well while the energy as a team is also revealed.
Chaeryeong: The new song TUNNEL VISION uses a beat and Afro genre that ITZY has never tried before, so we tried to bring out the feeling as much as possible.
Yuna: "Sensory blocking." The performance that keeps your eyes glued from start to finish is a listening point. Lia unnie's "Focus" part is especially a killing part — her gaze is really great.
Q. The title track music video also unravels the inner story in ITZY's own way. Are there any memorable behind-the-scenes stories from members who tried acting following the performance? Also, tell us the viewing points you think viewers should watch for in this music video.
Yeji: I remember we laughed at rumors that we were shooting a ketchup commercial after many people saw sightings of us. We thought it would be amazing if it really happened. (laughs)
Yuna: The new music video has charm that allows you to meet it with fresh perspectives the more you watch, so we hope many people enjoy watching it.
Q. ITZY, the "K-pop performance queens," had famous dance teams Lachika and KRSTRN join the choreography for the comeback title track. What kind of performance can we expect from the new song? Tell us the key choreography points of the title track TUNNEL VISION as the members see them.
ITZY: We included grooves inspired by Afro and hip-hop dance, precise movements and various choreography that evoke a tunnel. From isolations to a line formation that mimics shooting guns, there are various killing parts, so it will be full of visual enjoyment.
Q. This year you showcased your charm on many domestic and international stages including university festivals, Waterbomb Seoul 2025, Trendy Taipei, a special invited performance at the local professional baseball game held at Taipei Dome, and 2025 TIMA. What do you think is ITZY's appeal on stage?
ITZY: When we performed at Taipei Dome, despite the large stage, many MIDZY (fandom name: MIDZY) were with us. Seeing the sea of cheering ring lights made us really happy and grateful. We would say our appeal is healthy energy and stages we create together with the audience!
Q. With the recent announcement of the Seoul performance, you also hinted at ITZY's third world tour. Since it's been a while, what points are you most looking forward to and what stages or elements do you want audiences to immerse themselves in?
ITZY: We're already excited and looking forward to it. You'll see stages infused with cohesion, unity and various charms throughout. There will be many new sides of the five members, and we will work hard to show performances full of visual enjoyment! Please look forward to it!
Q. You've worked hard up to your seventh anniversary. This album is viewed as a work that opens a "new curtain" for ITZY beyond a simple comeback. What does the next chapter ITZY wants to show look like? Please give each other a word of encouragement to the members who have run together.
Yeji: I was able to run to this moment because Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna were there. It was more fun and happier because we were together, and I'm grateful to the members who embraced every moment with me. I want to fully feel the times we spend together at our own pace and repay the love we've received with our music. And I want to become artists our fans can be proud of.
Lia: Because we went through so much together, we are closer now, and I'm excited to see how much stronger and more solid we will become from the experiences we will share in the future!
Ryujin: In a way, the new album and comeback make us reaffirm our commitment to future ITZY activities. The members have worked hard so far, and let's keep fighting!
Chaeryeong: It's amazing that it's already our seventh anniversary, and I'm grateful we've come this far without incident. Members! Thank you so much, and let's keep doing well!
Yuna: To our members who worked hard together, you did well. I think I was able to grow because you were always by my side. Thank you and I love you!
Q. Since you surprised fans with an early contract renewal announcement at the fan meeting, it seems you wanted to tell fans the news they were waiting for first. Tell us what you want to say to MIDZY who will be with you going forward.
Yeji: Because you've always been by our side with great love and support, we were able to overcome difficult times and receive joyful moments with greater happiness. Thank you for making us feel so cherished, and we will try to be a more reliable presence.
Lia: I always want to be with MIDZY for a long time. Let's keep building precious memories together one by one.
Ryujin: I will always strive to show only great sides of us. Let's do well from now on, too. Thank you always!
