'My Little Old Boy' Choi Jin-hyuk revealed Park Kyung-rim's good deed.
On the 9th broadcast, SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereinafter 'My Little Old Boy') showed Choi Jin-hyuk making kimchi with Park Kyung-rim.
That day Choi Jin-hyuk challenged himself to make kimchi to give as a gift to his "benefactor" Choi Soo-jong. While mixing seasoning into the salted napa cabbage with Park Kyung-rim's help, he said, "It's amazing. I used to follow my older sister to the 'X-Man' set to hang out, but that's the first celebrity I ever saw in my life."
At the time, the 20-year-old Choi Jin-hyuk was a trainee at Park Kyung-rim's agency. Park Kyung-rim recalled their first meeting, saying, "Our agency's CEO told me, 'Kyung-rim, I met a kid at the mart who looks like a raw gem,'" she said.
Park Kyung-rim's manager and the agency CEO didn't have a business card, so they wrote their number on a notepad and handed it over, but Choi Jin-hyuk said he didn't trust it because he had been scammed once. In the end, Park Kyung-rim's manager immediately called Park Kyung-rim to convince him, which drew attention.
Choi Jin-hyuk expressed his gratitude, saying, "My older sister gave me pocket money, let me live in an officetel, and I was indebted to her as soon as I came up to Seoul." Choi Jin-hyuk's mother also said, "The family treated him very well. (Park Kyung-rim's) mother and father also took very good care of him."
Choi Jin-hyuk said, "She must have felt sorry for me. She always bought me meals," and Park Kyung-rim said, "Sometimes I think of you from back then. You came saying you'd be a singer, but when I heard your singing at the karaoke then, I thought 'not a singer.' From the start I thought you had an actor's face," which drew laughter.
