Singer Chuu (CHUU) recalled a period when she went through a slump after debuting in the entertainment industry.
On the 10th, a video titled "One-shot instructor Chuu-teacher summarizes entertainment world activity in 30 minutes" was released on the YouTube channel "JikyeoChuu."
In the video, Chuu directly explained her life story for new subscribers of "JikyeoChuu." Chuu said that as her subscriber count increased, she felt the need to explain herself in more detail and therefore began the explanatory session.
Chuu, who was born in Cheongju, became famous on social media even before her debut. After entering Hanlim Arts High School and nurturing her dream of becoming a singer, Chuu debuted as a member of the group LOONA and left an impression after receiving attention on Hangout With Yoo.
Although Chuu always spread positive energy with her bright smile and high tension, she also experienced a slump. Regarding the controversy over fake energy versus genuine energy, Chuu said, "When you're nervous, it seems like everyone shows it a little when they are rookies. If I hadn't wanted to try hard, I wouldn't have been able to force myself," emphasizing that it was genuine energy, not fake energy.
In particular, Chuu confessed, "I was really hurt by being told I couldn't sing," and said, "I appeared alone on a radio program for the first time representing the members, but it turned out that only the main vocalists came. After suffering greatly from malicious comments then, I sat under the practice room desk with the lights off and was sad. That was the first time it was hard. I can really sing well, I like it, and I have confidence, so I wondered why I messed up when I stood in front of the camera."
But Chuu added that she overcame her slump through her appearance on Masked Singer and the support of fans.
