"2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iM Bank" (2025 KGMA) will be broadcast live globally via the short-form video platform TikTok.
On the 10th, the KGMA organizing committee said the 2025 KGMA, held over two days on the 14th and 15th at Incheon Inspire Arena, will be livestreamed domestically and globally via TikTok Live excluding Japan and China. Accordingly, global K-pop fans who cannot get the chance to see K-pop artists' impressive performances and meet next-generation top stars in person at the venue will be able to enjoy the 2025 KGMA in real time regardless of location. In Japan, the 2025 KGMA will be broadcast live on Hulu Japan.
TikTok has built a differentiated position in the live streaming market through TikTok Live based on unique features and accessibility. In April, it hosted the "TikTok Live Entertainment Summit," inviting leaders of the domestic entertainment industry and expressing its ambition to grow into a hub leading global entertainment.
Now in its second year, the KGMA was launched last year by Ilgan Sports to mark its 55th anniversary and immediately established itself as a representative K-pop festival in Korea by spotlighting K-pop artists and works that received much love from domestic and international fans over the year and presenting differentiated content. Having risen as a leading domestic K-pop awards show, the 2025 KGMA plans to further promote the power of K-pop and K-content widely through this TikTok Live broadcast.
The 2025 KGMA will be hosted for two days as "artist day" and "music day," with actor Nam Ji-hyun returning as MC for the second consecutive year, alongside Irene (Red Velvet) and Natti (KISS OF LIFE).
The lineup will feature The Boyz, Miyao, Park Seo-jin, BOYNEXTDOOR, Psykers, I.N.I (INI), ATEEZ, Xdinary Heroes, ALLDAY PROJECT, WOODS, Lee Chan-won, CRAVITY, KiiiKiii, Fifty Fifty, SMTR25 (the above on the first day, listed in Korean alphabetical order) and NEXG, Dae-young (WJSN), Lucy, BTOB, Suho (EXO), Stray Kids, I.D.I.T, IVE, Ahop, Yoonis, Jang Min-ho, Close Your Eyes, KISS OF LIFE, KickFlip, fromis_9, P1Harmony, Hearts2Hearts and others — a total of 32 teams — promising stages as dazzling as the lineup.
Presenters will also include next-generation leading figures, promising a star-studded celebration. On the 14th: Gong Seung-yeon, Kwon Yul, Kim Do-hoon, Kim Yo-han, Moon Chae-won, Bae Hyun-seong, Seo Eun-su, Seo Ji-hoon, Shin Seung-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Um Tae-goo, Yeon-woo, Lee Seol, Lee Yeol-eum, Lee Joo-myung, Chae Seo-an, Choo Young-Woo, Ha-young; on the 15th: Kang Tae-oh, Kim Dan, Kim Do-yeon, Kim Min-seok, Park Se-wan, Byeon Wooseok, Ong Seong-woo, Yoon Ga-yi, Lee Se-young, Lee Joo-yeon, Jung Jun-won, Joo Hyun-young, Choi Soo-young, Choi Yoon-ji and others will brighten the event.
The 2025 KGMA is hosted by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M), jointly organized by the KGMA organizing committee, Creatoring and DIO, and sponsored by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization. Title sponsorship is provided by iM Bank, and KT ENA will participate as the host broadcaster again this year.
