Clon member Kang Won-rae recalled a traffic accident from 25 years ago and revealed his feelings.
Kang Won-rae posted a long message on his social media on the 9th, saying, "It was an accident. I was left alone in a pitch-black darkness where I could not see anything."
He said, "After wandering for a long time wondering where I was, when I opened my eyes misfortune was pressing down on my whole body. I had no feeling. My legs, which had supported me until now and made me dance, had no sensation at all. I had to accept without resistance the unbearable reality of the third central nervous system rupture and paralysis of the lower body."
He continued, "What should I do, where should I start again? Facing the endless fear that fills my heart with frustration and despair, I must meet the world again. I wiped the flowing tears as I looked at a world that has not yet abandoned me."
Earlier, Kang Won-rae was involved in an accident in 2000 when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle making an illegal U-turn, and he was diagnosed with paralysis of the lower body.
Through rehabilitation his condition improved to the point that he could use a wheelchair. He registered his marriage to Kim Song in 2001, held a wedding ceremony in 2003, and welcomed a son in 2013, 10 years after their marriage.
