On the 8th, JURIN announced on her official social media that under the artist name "JURIN ASAYA" she will release her debut single "PS118 (feat. Rapsody)" on the 18th, signaling the start of full-scale solo activities. This revealed that the "PS118" teaser, which drew attention after being released on the XGALX official social media account last month, was JURIN's solo project, further raising expectations among global fans.
The released image contained a cinematic teaser that highlighted the strong presence and visuals of JURIN and featured artist Rapsody. From location cuts with a gritty, cinematic texture where a classic car and decaying structures form a contrast, to scenes of them sitting across from each other in a dark restaurant and black-and-white portraits, the teaser heightened curiosity about the narrative tension and universe of this solo project.
"PS118 (feat. Rapsody)" is a song inspired by a journey navigating the endless universe, portraying JURIN's evolution and identity. It captures JURIN's strong inner drive to trust her own direction and wavelength and move forward without being swayed by others' gazes. Sharp raps and heavy beats interlock to depict the moment the artist "JURIN" expands into a galaxy.
Notably, the debut single attracted attention with the participation of American rapper Rapsody, who represents hip-hop realism, as a featured artist.
