Model and TV personality Han Hye-jin suffered a hacking attack on her YouTube account.
On the 10th, Han Hye-jin wrote on her social networking service (SNS) account, "My YouTube channel was hacked," and added, "In the early morning hours, a live broadcast about coins was streamed on my channel, which I learned about around 8 a.m. through calls from the production staff and people around me."
Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel had about 860,000 subscribers, but after the hacking, the channel was deleted.
Han Hye-jin said, "I have officially filed an appeal with YouTube and have taken all possible measures for the prompt restoration of the channel, and I am waiting for a response."
She continued, "The broadcast streamed in the early morning hours was unrelated to the intentions of me or the channel's production staff, and I want to make it clear that it was not content we streamed," adding, "I sincerely hope there is no one who suffered damage because of that broadcast."
She went on, "This channel is one where I have personally planned and created each piece of content with affection, so I feel only deep distress and dismay," and added, "Once again, I sincerely apologize to all subscribers and users for causing concern and inconvenience. I will do my utmost to the end for the swift restoration of the channel."
