Former soccer player and broadcaster Lee Cheon-su reached a settlement with the accuser in a fraud allegation, and his wife Shim Ha-eun left a meaningful message directed at her husband.
On the 8th, Shim Ha-eun posted on her social media, "One day in the future, after all the days that were intense like a storm and hot like the sun have passed, look forward to us in the quiet, peaceful days," and released wedding photos along with the words "Just do well."
In the released photos, the two, in their fresh youth, stand looking at each other with bright smiles. Shim Ha-eun's words are interpreted as a message of support to her husband, Lee Cheon-su, regarding the recent controversy.
Earlier, Lee Cheon-su was sued on suspicion of fraud involving hundreds of millions of won. A longtime acquaintance, identified as Mr. A, filed a complaint alleging that Lee Cheon-su persuaded him to invest in foreign exchange futures trading and embezzled several hundred million won.
Regarding this, Lee Cheon-su's agency said on the 7th, "This arose from a misunderstanding by the accuser, Mr. A, and both parties reached an amicable settlement," adding, "We confirmed that Lee Cheon-su had no intention to defraud or deceive. The accuser does not want investigation or punishment and decided to withdraw the complaint."
Meanwhile, Shim Ha-eun, a former model, married Lee Cheon-su in 2012 and they have one son and two daughters.
