'My Little Old Boy' Choi Jin-hyuk confessed that he was able to debut as an actor thanks to Choi Soo-jong.

That day Choi Jin-hyuk mentioned Choi Soo-jong as the benefactor who helped him debut as an actor, drawing attention. At the time, Choi Jin-hyuk was a trainee at Park Kyung-rim's agency and he said he debuted as an actor after winning the grand prize on an audition program.
Park Kyung-rim said, "You came to Seoul to be a singer, but didn't you debut and achieve your real dream of becoming an actor because of this person? He is a providential person to you," and Choi Jin-hyuk said, "Even thinking about it now, it doesn't make sense. I'm so grateful." In the studio, Choi Jin-hyuk's mother added, "A true benefactor."
Soon Choi Soo-jong appeared. Choi Jin-hyuk said, "I debuted because of an audition program, and the final mission at that time was to remake a scene from 'First Love'," and said he performed the famous public phone scene from 'First Love' at that time.
He continued, "I honestly told my older sister that I didn't know how to do this. (Kyung-rim) sister suggested learning from the senior, but I said, 'How could I possibly learn from the senior?'" he recalled.
Park Kyung-rim said, "At that time, he was the best actor, so I just went for it. I asked, 'Is that possible?' I couldn't say no, so I called and asked," and explained, "The senior said he had no time, so he asked, 'Do you want to come to my house?'"
In fact, Choi Soo-jong invited Choi Jin-hyuk, who was a trainee actor who had not yet debuted, to his home and gave him acting guidance. Choi Jin-hyuk said, "It was past 10 p.m. He came out in his pajamas. That first scene is still deeply etched in my mind. I can't forget it."
Seo Jang-hoon said, "Wasn't that looking after a total novice who hadn't even debuted?" and Shin Dong-yup also marvelled, "Park Kyung-rim, who goes for it, is amazing, and Soo-jong hyung, who accepted it, is amazing too."
Choi Jin-hyuk said, "At that time the senior sat on the sofa in the living room and performed with tears welling up in front of me. It was so shocking," and Choi Soo-jong recalled, "I think I said something like that. To Jin-hyuk I said, 'You should perform as your Chan-hyuk as you see him and as Jin-hyuk imagines Chan-hyuk,' telling him to have his own Chan-hyuk."
In particular, Choi Soo-jong said that when acting one must give 'sincerity,' and Choi Jin-hyuk said, "That word still lingers when I act. I cannot forget it," expressing his respect.
In the end, Choi Jin-hyuk was able to win the grand prize at the audition and debut with Choi Soo-jong's help. He conveyed his gratitude, saying, "I was so moved that I wondered whether, if I became like the senior in 20 years, I could do the same for junior actors."
