'Trusted-listen' MONSTA X (MONSTA X: Shownu·Minhyuk·Kihyun·Hyungwon·Joohoney·IM) previewed the mood of their new song by releasing concept photos.
Agency Starship Entertainment posted on the 9th (Korean time) on MONSTA X's official SNS the individual concept photos for Shownu and Minhyuk's U.S. digital single 'baby blue' (baby blue).
In the released photos, Shownu stared at the camera with a steady gaze, creating a calm atmosphere as if lost in thought. Minhyuk maximized the sense of loneliness with a wistful yet hollow look, hinting at the mood of the new song.
The new song 'baby blue', released on the 14th, is the group's official U.S. single released about four years after their second U.S. full-length album 'The Dreaming' (THE DREAMING), which was released in December 2021. At the time, MONSTA X proved their global influence by entering the U.S. Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks with 'The Dreaming', and they are expected to present another different charm with this new song.
MONSTA X recently raised fans' expectations by releasing a schedule poster. They will sequentially release individual concept photos for Kihyun·Hyungwon on the 10th and Joohoney·IM on the 11th. Then on the 12th they will release a group concept photo, and on the 13th they will open the music video teaser, building excitement up until the release.
MONSTA X is scheduled to appear at the United States' largest year-end festival '2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour' hosted by the U.S.'s largest media group iHeartRadio in December. With the news of their fourth invitation this year, proving their presence as a K-pop icon, global fans are focusing on the U.S. single 'baby blue'.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X's U.S. digital single 'baby blue' (baby blue) will be available on global music sites at 0:00 on the 14th in each country. The music video will be released the same day at 2 p.m. KST and 0 a.m. ET.
