On the 9th broadcast, 'Sadanggui' episode 330 features David Lee, known as the meat gangster, appearing as the NEW boss and showing extremes that swing between gangster and Dalma. After storming the kitchen, David Lee checks the potatoes prepared for potato terrine. Because potato terrine is a dish where thinly sliced potatoes are layered and baked in the oven, the way the potatoes are sliced is important.
However, after checking the sizes of the thinly sliced potatoes, David Lee erupts in anger, saying, "Are you just slicing because it'll be hidden when stacked anyway? The thicknesses are different, the sizes are different — do these look the same?" and freezes the kitchen with his fury. David says, "Even if you can't see it, the texture when you eat it is different and each thickness cooks at a different rate," ordering potato slices of identical size and throwing the members into a panic. In response, Jun Hyun-moo says, "He's right, but he says it in a really scary way," and, "He stacks them like layers one by one and gets angry," expressing astonishment at David Lee's terrifying gangster expression.
After a storm of anger sweeps through, David Lee returns holding a bouquet that catches everyone's eye. Jun Hyun-moo says, "That's even scarier. Gangsters normally like flowers," and is left speechless by David Lee's extreme shifts in style. Unfazed by Jun Hyun-moo's stunned reaction, David Lee says, "I actually like flowers. All the flowers in the store are arranged by me," carefully trimming each flower and placing them in a vase. David Lee says, "You shouldn't judge by appearance. To calm the mind you either sharpen a knife or arrange flowers," prompting laughter.
Park Myung-su praises him, saying, "That's tasteful," and Jun Hyun-moo applauds the surprising charm, saying, "He looks like a Dalma master." The charm of David Lee, who shifts between meat gangster, flower arranger and Dalma Lee, will be revealed in the full broadcast of 'Sadanggui'.
