Travel creator GwakTube revealed his YouTube revenue and his personal creed.

GwakTube held his wedding on the 11th of last month with a public servant five years younger than him. The wedding song was Davichi, and the master of ceremonies was Jun Hyun-moo, with a star-studded guest lineup including BTS's Jin, Joo Woo-jae, and Kim Poong drawing attention. In particular, the top wedding gift was revealed to be creator Jang Hyun-gil, who runs the YouTube channel '계곡은 개골개골'.
As a happy newlywed joining by phone, GwakTube said, "Thank you for the congratulations. I feel indifferent. I received so many congratulations that I wonder if I lived this hard. My wife seems to be realizing it now, so I'm living comfortably," he said.
GwakTube is known to have lost 17 kg before the wedding. He said, "After losing weight, people compared me to Cho Sae-ho. My face fat remained while only my body slimmed down, so my face looks bigger. Since it's the once-in-a-lifetime wedding, I dieted to fit it," adding, "I was on the 'Radio Show' two years ago and I'm about 15 kg lighter than then. Recently I happened to meet Park Myung-soo at a restaurant, and as a small good deed, he paid the bill and left. He handled it coolly," he said.
GwakTube, considered a first-generation travel creator with 2.14 million subscribers, said rather, "I've been doing this for six years, I'm a later entrant," and "I do many other things, but my main source of income is YouTube. But that revenue isn't what it used to be. I'll pull whatever I can," he said. He added, "I use YouTube to record my life, and rather than showing Koreans my life abroad, I wanted to keep it as my record. I plan to show it to the son to be born," he said.
Also, GwakTube drew attention when it was reported that he recently opened a snack shop for his mother. In response to being called a "dutiful son," GwakTube said, "Business isn't going well. I paid the money, but my mother runs the business, so it's separate; I don't think it's my mother's fault," he said.
Active on YouTube and various variety shows, GwakTube said about the 'Jun Hyun-moo plan,' "Jun Hyun-moo hyung seemed to want to work with a new person. Before that, he couldn't do a regular program, but he was chosen and got to do it," he said.
Finally, when asked if he could have a "chicken gathering" with two famous people, GwakTube said, "I want to have a chicken-and-beer gathering with Columbus and Magellan. As a first-generation travel creator, I want to get advice," he said.
