Actor Kim Yoo-jung's warm consideration shown on set is becoming a hot topic.
On the TVING original drama "Dear X," the mother of child actor Ki So-yoo, who played the young version of Kim Yoo-jung, recently shared Kim Yoo-jung's kind side on her personal SNS.
She said, "Actor Kim Yoo-jung is 10,000 times prettier in person than in photos," and "I heard from before filming that the director was very worried about So-yoo. He said they should assign a counselor, and even at the reading he kept worrying after seeing So-yoo's acting."
She added, "At the reading and dinner she approached with a gaze that seemed to drip honey from her eyes and warmly took care of her, saying, 'If you have a hard time, be sure to contact me.' She came to the set to cheer on the first day of shooting, and on days with difficult scenes she felt sorry for not being able to come because of her schedule, and I was moved by how sincerely she cared for the child actor."
Ki So-yoo's mother expressed gratitude, saying, "There was so much I could learn from actor Kim Yoo-jung. I was so happy to be able to play the young version of actor Kim Yoo-jung."
Meanwhile, "Dear X" is a crime thriller focused on brutal incidents and psychological depiction, and because it received a 19+ rating it contains many intense scenes. The production team carefully managed the set to protect the child actor's emotional well-being, and Kim Yoo-jung also left a heartwarming anecdote with her warm consideration for her junior.
