On Saturday the 8th episode of KBS 2TV 'Mr. House Husband' will portray Lee Min-woo's daily life as he prepares step by step to become a father.
That day Lee Min-woo visits the obstetrics and gynecology clinic with his expectant wife for a routine checkup; she had experienced vaginal bleeding at 25 weeks of pregnancy, and an earlier examination had noted an abnormal finding called 'marginal placenta,' where the placenta attaches to the edge of the uterus. Medical staff explained that if the positions of the placenta and umbilical cord are not stable, fetal growth retardation can occur, and Lee Min-woo stays by her side unable to hide his worry that something might be wrong with the baby.
His wife, who looks so full-term that even breathing seems difficult, enters the examination room amid a heavy tension, and the two cannot relax their stern expressions as they wait for the ultrasound results.
When the baby's image finally appears on the ultrasound screen, Lee Min-woo watches with bated breath, unable to take his eyes off it. The studio also grows quiet as if watching the possible outcome together, and his wife smiles, saying, "The baby's nose is big; he looks like Min-woo," while Lee Min-woo, saying "I get chills," shows overwhelming emotion.
