Group Ahop (AHOF) hit a career high on the fourth day after their comeback.
According to album tracking site Hanteo Chart, Ahop (Steven, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Ung-gi, Jang Shuai-vo, Park Han, J.L., Park Joo-won, Jeeon, Daisuke)'s second mini album "The Passage" recorded sales of 368,965 copies as of the 7th.
This is about 8,000 copies more than the first-week sales of their debut release. Earlier, Ahop achieved first-week sales of 360,985 with mini album 1 "WHO WE ARE" and ranked fifth in first-week sales for debut albums by boy groups. With "The Passage," they surpassed their previous result easily by surpassing 368,000 copies on the fourth day after their comeback.
Above all, it is notable that they set their personal best three days earlier than with the previous release. Ahop is continuing a soaring run of popularity at a faster pace than at debut. With first-week tallies counted through the 10th, sales of the new release are expected to rise even more sharply.
Ahop is fully showing the mettle of a "monster rookie" with "The Passage," released on the 4th. After its release the album hit No. 1 on iTunes top album charts in six countries, placed in the top ranks in 16 countries, and reached No. 5 on the worldwide iTunes albums chart, signaling global success.
The title track "Pinocchio hates lies" is also receiving an explosive response from global listeners. The song has succeeded on domestic and international music streaming platform charts, and its music video has recorded 18 million views, showing an unstoppable upward trend.
Ahop will appear on SBS's "Inkigayo," which airs on the 9th, for their second music show comeback stage.
