Actor Oh Cho-hee mentioned concerns about advanced maternal age pregnancy and asked for support rather than worry.
On the 7th, Oh Cho-hee posted a video on her personal account saying, "Pregnancy in your 40s, is it really too late?"
That day Oh Cho-hee said, "These days wedding news and pregnancy news are pouring in around me. Recently, there have been so many fellow expectant mothers that the phrase "I'm pregnant too!" has become very familiar."
She said, "But on the other hand I hear a lot of things like 'advanced maternal age,' 'Is it okay in your 40s?,' 'Isn't it too late?'" and added, "But I think this way. In our 20s and 30s we lived more fiercely than anyone and accumulated enough, so pregnancy and parenting in your 40s is an age when you have more peace of mind and can welcome the baby more solidly."
Oh Cho-hee added, "So please support me rather than worry."
Meanwhile, Oh Cho-hee held a wedding with her lawyer husband in May last year. She later shared the sad news of a miscarriage in August, but four weeks later in September she announced she was pregnant with identical twins and received congratulations.
At the time Oh Cho-hee said, "At 40 I have begun to dream again. These two children who have come to me are the most precious and valuable gifts in the world," and added, "From now on I will live with twice, no, ten times the gratitude."
