'Shin's Project' achieved meaningful results in major Asian countries.
On the 8th, Asia's largest regional OTT platform Viu released the weekly chart for the fifth week of October (Oct. 27–Nov. 2), which shows that the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Shin's Project' (English title: Shin's Project) ranked third in Thailand, fourth in Singapore and Hong Kong respectively, and fifth in Indonesia and Malaysia, placing it in the top five in five countries.
'Shin's Project' is a drama that depicts the process of the legendary negotiator Shin implementing justice while resolving cases. Han Seok-kyu plays the title role, exuding a heavy charisma, and Bae Hyun-seong and Lee Re appear as Shin's aides respectively, matching generations to add tension and warmth to the drama.
In particular, Bae Hyun-seong, who made a mark with Asian viewers by rising to the top ranks of Viu's weekly chart last year with 'Modular Family' (2024), solidified his position as the next-generation Korean wave star by scoring consecutive hits with this 'Shin's Project.'
Meanwhile, Viu is Asia's largest regional OTT platform operated by Hong Kong's PCCW, presenting popular Korean content to Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Currently 'To the Moon' and 'EXchange 4' are being serviced, and anticipated titles such as 'Taxi Driver 3' and 'Moon River' will be released soon.
