On "My manager who is too prickly for me–The secretariat," Lee Kwang-soo drew attention by showing a solid love with his girlfriend Lee Sun-bin, who had been the subject of marriage rumors.
On the July 7 broadcast of SBS entertainment show "My manager who is too prickly for me–The secretariat," actor Lee Kwang-soo spoke directly about the "marriage rumors" while mentioning his long-term relationship with Lee Sun-bin.
On the show that day, Lee Seo-jin greeted Lee Kwang-soo warmly as soon as he saw him, saying, "I saw your girlfriend at the hair salon." As the topic of the publicly dating couple naturally came up, Lee Kwang-soo showed his unchanged affection, saying, "It's already been eight to nine years. We're doing well."
Then Lee Seo-jin, with his trademark bluntness, said, "If it's over two years, either they get married or they break up," and Kim Kwang-kyu chimed in, "Seo-jin doesn't even make it a year." Lee Seo-jin made people laugh, saying, "There was a time I lasted over a year. If it's over two years, you should get married." He then fired off questions one after another—"You've dated for a long time, will you get married or break up?"—and when things ran away with the conversation, Lee Kwang-soo drew a firm line, saying, "Why do you keep asking that? We won't break up."
Lee Seo-jin then espoused a kind of free-love theory, saying, "Do as you like. If you break up, you can meet someone else," and Kim Kwang-kyu revealed, "He broke up with all of them," which sent the set into laughter. Lee Seo-jin coolly admitted, "That's why I'm alone," and wrapped up with his distinctive "secretariat-style wit."
In later segments, Lee Seo-jin's close chemistry with producer Na Young-seok upon reuniting was revealed. When Do Kyung Soo and Ji Chang-wook tattled, saying, "Lee Seo-jin is uncomfortable," Na Young-seok burst out laughing and said, "Did you put such a prickly person in as a manager?"
Meanwhile, earlier Lee Sun-bin appeared on the June My Little Old Boy on SBS and said, "The secret to a long relationship is having compatible tendencies and codes," adding, "We're both playful, so there's always a lot to laugh about." Until recently she also spoke candidly about prenatal care and a daughter, conveying a mature view of relationships along with uninhibited talk.
Fans of the couple, who have maintained unchanged love for eight years, are sending messages of support such as, "Hope to hear wedding news soon," "This couple is a real-life romance," and "Hope they bear a beautiful fruit."
