Singer Woos revealed that he studied soccer in Brazil.
On the 8th a new video was posted on the YouTube channel "Tteunteun" titled "Enlistment report is an excuse." The guests this time were Monsta X's Juheon, who was recently discharged, singer Woos (Cho Seung-yeon), and Jung Seung-hwan, who appeared and talked with Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae.
That day Jung Seung-hwan said he was appearing on "Let's Play Soccer 4," and laughed, saying, "But I'm not really active there. People hardly know I'm on it." Woos said, "The team is doing well as is, right?" and Jung Seung-hwan confessed, "The team is doing well so I'm kind of riding along. In the military they really thought I was Messi," which drew laughter.
Soccer is what Woos is best at. Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Seung-yeon, did you play as a player?" and Woos said, "When I was young I played soccer in Brazil."
When Yoo Jae-suk asked in surprise, "Are you a Brazil study-abroad student?" Woos confessed, "I studied abroad for about two years. I tried to become a (soccer) player but hit a wall. I think athletics are a realm of talent, and if you can't stand out even within that, I thought I couldn't become a great player."
Yoo Jae-suk marveled, "Well, if Woos went to Brazil to study soccer, he must have already been pretty good."
Woos recalled the days when he was full of passion for soccer, saying, "Because being an athlete is so hard, (my parents) thought it would be better if I didn't pursue sports. I kept telling them I wanted to play soccer. I researched which country uses which currency, what the value of Korea's 1,000 won is, printed that out and persuaded them."
Yoo Jae-suk admired, "If Seung-yeon had continued with soccer and made the national team, he'd still be very popular now, but it would have ended with soccer," and Juheon added, "If he had become a player, there wouldn't be 'drowning,' right?"
