In 'My manager is too picky–the secretariat' Lee Seo-jin suffered embarrassment for not knowing the stage name of a guest amid a tardiness controversy.
On the 7th broadcast of the SBS variety show *'My manager is too picky–the secretariat'*, actor Ji Chang-wook and Doh Kyung Soo (DIO) had their movie promotion schedule closely managed, delivering a laughter explosion.
The day started off rocky because of Lee Seo-jin's "tardiness." When production reported "Lee Seo-jin is running late," Kim Kwang-kyu snapped, "Is it okay for a manager to be late?" That recalled past scenes of Lee Seo-jin scolding Kim Kwang-kyu, who had been late before, shouting "Get your act together," which drew laughter. Eventually, when Lee Seo-jin arrived late, as if expecting to be scolded, he kicked the car door closed as soon as it opened and, saying "Wait a minute," made a motion to cut off the nagging, provoking roars of laughter.
Notably, this was the first time ever that only male actors were being managed. Lee Seo-jin returned to his prickly main persona, saying "I told you not to call men," and Kim Kwang-kyu appeased him, drawing laughs, saying, "Don't say that anymore."
The first member to appear was Ji Chang-wook. Dressed casually, he said, "It would be better if I drove," and Kim Kwang-kyu coolly replied, "If it's uncomfortable, you do it." Kim Kwang-kyu's relaxed attitude, having driven himself for 'My Star' in the past, amused viewers.
But another tardiness incident occurred when picking up Doh Kyung Soo for the next schedule. After waiting 15 minutes, Doh Kyung Soo said, "This is troublesome. I don't like people who don't keep time," freezing the scene. However, when the car actually arrived, he greeted them right away, saying, "Hello, hyungnim," and observed proper manners, easing the atmosphere.
Even while moving, the mishaps of the "tardy managers" continued. When Lee Seo-jin called production saying, "We're really late," Ji Chang-wook shot back with a factual jab, "That's not nervousness, that's anger." Then Doh Kyung Soo, barely containing himself, bluntly asked, "Would you consider changing lanes?" and when they actually changed lanes the road opened up, causing everyone to burst out laughing.
But the real laughter came next. Lee Seo-jin didn't know Doh Kyung Soo's stage name, "DIO (EXO)." When he asked, "What's DIO?" Kim Kwang-kyu rebuked, "You should study the guest before you come out. Kyung Soo is DIO." Lee Seo-jin, not understanding, said, "Today it's Kyung Soo, so why DIO?" then added, "Still, it's nice to keep calling him DIO. It's also the name of an implant I advertise," which covered the set in laughter.
At the end of the broadcast, when Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu gossipingly said, "Doh Kyung Soo is sensitive," Doh Kyung Soo, overhearing, appeared baffled, saying, "I wasn't sensitive!", providing lighthearted laughter until the end. He added warmly, "I like Kwang-kyu hyung's style. He studied me a lot," wrapping things up on a pleasant note. Lee Seo-jin also shouted, "I like DIO too! I love DIO!", closing out with laughter.
