tvN 'Amazing Saturday' will feature comedians Shin Gi-ru, Heo Kyung-hwan and actor Seo Beom-jun.
Tonight (the 8th, Saturday) at 7:40 p.m., 'Amazing Saturday' (hereafter 'Amazing Sat') will air a friends special featuring welcome guests. Shin Gi-ru, Heo Kyung-hwan and Seo Beom-jun will appear as Park Na-rae's friend, Shin Dong-yup's friend and Key's friend, respectively, and plan to fully showcase their cheerful charms.
First, Shin Gi-ru shows off fantastic chemistry with Moon Se-yoon, who is perfectly possessed by his doppelgänger, then engages in an unexpected clash of wills with Taeyeon that sends everyone into hysterics. Heo Kyung-hwan reveals a new catchphrase prepared for 'Amazing Sat' and persistently delivers his catchphrase despite the chilly reaction from the doremi that it is an "80s gag style." When the doremi ask him to make them laugh with talk instead of a catchphrase, he laments, "It's been a while since I was on; is this okay?" which adds to the hilarity. Nervous on his first visit to 'Amazing Sat,' Seo Beom-jun mentions a shocking episode about his close friend Key, rocking the studio from the start.
The appetizer game, now in full swing, is "six in one heart – vocal support edition," where the comedians-formed "unbalanced team" and the singers-and-rappers-formed "balance team" face off. True to comedians, the "unbalanced team" solves problems with perfectly synchronized rhythm and even performs skits, while the "balance team," which on the verge of breaking the friendship they had built due to an unexpected mistake, barely regroups, leading to a closely contested match. The fierce tactical battles and keen-sensing maneuvers of the two teams driven by competitiveness are also expected to be laughs.
In the main subtitles segment that follows, the doremi once again unite and demonstrate their skills. Leading the way was Shin Dong-yup, who sharply analyzed the lyrics despite the difficult question, with Moon Se-yoon, Taeyeon, Key and Heo Kyung-hwan, who made decisive deductions, also performing strongly. The dessert game "New·structured word quiz" also promises varied fun, raising expectations. In particular, members of the "unbalanced team," who showed strong cohesion in the appetizer game, are set to face off fiercely, and even in tense situations they reportedly displayed their comedian instincts, making viewers even more curious about the broadcast.
