'K-pop Demon Hunters' OST 'Golden (GOLDEN)' which was produced and sung by singer Lee Jae moved her to tears at being nominated for the Grammy Awards.
Lee Jae posted on her social media on the 8th announcing her nomination for the '68th Grammy Awards', saying, "Oh my god. I don't even have an adjective to describe how I feel right now. I never imagined being nominated for a Grammy. And it's for 'song of the year'! Saying this was my dream is far too little," and published a long post.
The Netflix animated film 'K-pop Demon Hunters' received a total of five nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, including 'Golden' being nominated for 'song of the year' and a nomination in 'best pop duo/group performance.'
Lee Jae added, "All of this is thanks to the fans who loved and supported the film. I am truly grateful," and "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write songs for this film, for bringing all of this process together, to my co-writers who wrote songs with me, to the new precious girls, and to all the staff."
Lee Jae shared her joy with the director, producers and staff of 'K-pop Demon Hunters', and with Ray Ami and older sister Audrey who sang Huntlix's songs together.
Lee Jae also said, "And thank you so much to the friends who recommended and joined this project," adding, "Okay, I'm going to cry again now."
Lee Jae is the maternal great-granddaughter of actor Shin Young-kyun and is known for training for 12 years at SM Entertainment (SM Entertainment). She worked on the songs for 'K-pop Demon Hunters' and performed the songs of Huntlix member Rumi in the film. Recently she appeared on cable channel You Quiz on the Block (You Quiz on the Block) and revealed behind-the-scenes stories of her trainee days and the work on 'K-pop Demon Hunters', generating attention.
