Lucid Fall mentioned his agency Antenna and representative Yoo Hee-yeol as the driving forces that move him.
On the 7th, an interview with Lucid Fall, who is releasing his 11th full-length album "Another Place," was held at Antenna's building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
"Another Place" is the full-length album Lucid Fall presents about three years after his previous full-length album, "Voice and Guitar," released in November 2022. Lucid Fall personally took charge of the lyrics and composition, as well as the arrangements, mixing, and vinyl mastering, adding care throughout the album. With sincere lyrics once and deeply resonant melodies twice, Lucid Fall is expected to move listeners' hearts.
On the day, Lucid Fall said the driving force that allowed him to release a full-length album was "Antenna's full support and Yoo Hee-yeol's full belief," and noted, "From an economic point of view (the company) could say let's release singles or an EP, but Antenna doesn't see it that way. At the center of that is Hyung Hee-yeol. Not just for me but for other musicians as well, when they say 'we will release a single,' the company plays a role in supporting what the artist wants to do."
Lucid Fall said, "For me an album is a record, like the footprints of a musician walking," and noted, "Some might think it's old-fashioned, but you are, after all, someone who releases a full-length every two or three years, so it's hard to capture that record with singles or an EP," adding, "There are many things I want to show and many things I want to let people hear. I also felt a lot in between," explaining why he consistently releases albums.
So what is the force that moves Lucid Fall? He said, "Because I am someone who makes music, at some point I made a personal resolve: 'I want to live by consistently releasing records,'" and added, "People who work at banks go to work every day, reporters write articles every day, that's just their job. My friend who pulls coffee makes coffee and greets people at the cafe. In the same way, it is natural for me to make music."
Lucid Fall mentioned a French artist and said, "That person said a musician is someone who consistently releases albums whether it's once a year or once every 10 years. I thought once every two years, and since I am someone who makes music now, creating music and releasing songs is my job. I thought I should live that way and I am still keeping it well. I don't know what will happen next. You never know about people," he confessed.
Meanwhile, Lucid Fall released the full-length album "Another Place" today (the 7th) at 6 p.m. on various music sites, and will hold a solo concert, "2025 Lucid Fall 11th album release concert 'Another Place'," for three days from the 28th to the 30th at Ewha Womans University ECC Yeongsan Theater in Seoul. He is scheduled to meet audiences with a set list that fully captures Lucid Fall's stories, including new songs included on "Another Place."<
