Group BAE173 said regarding member Doha (Na Gyu-min)'s lawsuit seeking a declaration of nonexistence of the exclusive contract's validity that "we could not continue together due to sudden actions."
Pocketdol Studio's legal representative, law firm Gwangya, said in a press release on the afternoon of the 7th, "Doha recently filed a lawsuit seeking a declaration of nonexistence of the exclusive contract's validity and a petition for a provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contract's validity against the agency."
They added, "Regarding the claim about provision of settlement statements, Pocketdol Studio sends quarterly settlement statements to BAE173 members by email. Doha likewise received the settlement statements, and there was a request in April 2025 from the guardian to change the email address. However, due to a staffing gap such as the resignation of the person in charge, the settlement statement could not be sent immediately, and after a settlement review procedure it was finally delivered in October. This was a delay caused by an administrative error, not an intentional omission."
Regarding Doha's suspension of activities, they said, "It was a judgment based on accumulated reasons such as an insincere attitude and sudden actions on site, not a unilateral measure," and added, "especially during the 2024 Chinese iQIYI audition program 'Starlight Boys' appearance, the production team repeatedly requested the agency to improve and resolve issues over Doha's insincere attitude."
They said, "During the consultation with the production team at that time, considering the parts Doha found difficult, we considered midterm withdrawal, but in the end Doha expressed a desire to continue appearing," and added, "however, improvement continued to be difficult. Recently, at a fan event, Doha left without prior consultation and during that process used profanity on site, creating an unpleasant situation in front of fans."
They also said, "During an artist's activity period, the agency's managers and staff support events from early morning to late at night on weekdays and weekends, working tirelessly for music shows, fan sign events and all schedules," and added, "nevertheless the agency did not charge the artist separately for those additional costs. However, in that process there were unrealistic and unfair demands such as 'dates when a manager did not work should be deducted from settlement items.' Managers are full-time employees and do not understand the employment structure, making such requests practically impossible to accept."
Pocketdol Studio added that staff and related parties have had difficulties due to Doha's words and behavior.
They also said, "We are saddened that Doha disclosed related matters on her SNS on the 6th. We will clarify the exact facts through subsequent legal procedures."
Earlier, Doha said through her SNS the previous day that she was in a dispute over an exclusive contract with Pocketdol Studio, saying, "This was the group I first belonged to and it was very meaningful to me as my first full-length album, so I prepared more sincerely and worked harder than anyone else, and I desperately hoped to greet you again on stage. But there were unreasonable things too great for me to handle," and said she could not carry out scheduled activities due to the company's decision, contrary to her will.

Pocketdol Studio confirmed the article about BAE173 member Doha (real name Na Gyu-min) reported in the media on Nov. 6, 2025. As legal representatives, we deliver the facts as follows.

The ongoing overseas tour and team activities are proceeding as scheduled without changes, and other members are focusing on performances to keep their promises to fans.
