The confrontation between Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun intensifies.
Tomorrow (the 8th) and on the 9th at 9:20 p.m., KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series "Last Summer" (directed by Min Yeon-hong, written by Jeon Yu-ri) will air episodes 3 and 4, in which Baek Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) surprises Song Ha-kyung (played by Choi Sung-eun) with an unexpected move.
Earlier, Do-ha, a 17-year childhood friend who suddenly became worse than a stranger to Ha-kyung, who had been living an ordinary life, appeared. As it was revealed that the two grew apart because of something that happened two years ago, curiosity about their story increased. Meanwhile, Do-ha added to the drama's entertainment by standing firm against Ha-kyung, who wants to sell the peanut house, in a tense standoff.
Ahead of episode 3, stills released today (the 7th) show Ha-kyung unable to hide her embarrassment after seeing the public contest-related documents handed to her by Jeon Ye-eun (played by Kang Seung-hyun). Ye-eun, who was the person responsible for demoting Ha-kyung to the township office, plunges her into trouble again this time. In particular, Ha-kyung is swept by complex emotions after checking the contents of the contest documents.
Meanwhile, Do-ha appears before a confused Ha-kyung. Ha-kyung gives a sharp look as if to say, "Why are you here?" In contrast, Do-ha looks at her with a soft smile, creating polar opposite moments.
Returning to Patam-myeon after two years, Do-ha opposes Ha-kyung's fence-removal project and refuses to sell the jointly titled peanut house, continuing their hostile relationship. With such a tense standoff between them, curiosity explodes over the real reason Do-ha came all the way to Ha-kyung's workplace.
