The group ILLIT (ILLIT) is piquing fans' curiosity with just the new title NOT CUTE ANYMORE.
The single album 1 NOT CUTE ANYMORE by ILLIT (Yoon-ah, Min-ju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha), to be released on the 24th, means "not just cute anymore," and it is a reversal of the girl image that is familiar to the public as bright and bouncy. Fans are eagerly awaiting the comeback, speculating about what concept and music ILLIT will present.
The message contained in the single title is hidden throughout the previously released content. The pack shot, which gives a glimpse of the album's actual design, includes the phrase "People call me cute before they know me, and continue to say so after they know me. But there are really many unexpected sides to me. It just takes a little longer to notice them," foreshadowing ILLIT's transformation.
Even on the track list, ILLIT continues to shout "NOT CUTE." The title track NOT CUTE ANYMORE expresses the desire not to be seen as only cute, and the album track NOT ME contains the will that no one can define me. In particular, the title track was produced by global producer Jasper Harris, who reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy, and domestic and international singer-songwriters such as Sasha Alex Sloan and youra contributed, sharply increasing expectations for ILLIT's musical transformation.
