Idle's Miyeon shared her honest thoughts on re-signing.
On the 7th, a video titled "Miyeon can even say things like this?! Our hollow conversations have changed" was posted on the YouTube channel Hyeri.
That day Hyeri asked, "Is there a difference between after re-signing and before or now?" Miyeon said, "Exactly, there's nothing like 'what changed,' but around the time we re-signed we might have been arrogant — it had become our eighth year and we thought, 'Isn't this enough?' but as time went on we felt we had to work even harder."
During the conversation Miyeon suddenly worried, asking, "Is it okay to say this?" and said, "So isn't it bad to have a lax mindset?" In response Hyeri encouraged her, saying, "When you look back at seven years there's output. You could think, 'From now on this much will be enough.'"
Miyeon confessed, "Exactly at eight years and around the time of re-signing we mostly thought that we could come together like this and do more. Now I think we perhaps should have really thought more about the next step."
She said the members decided together, "Let's work hard." Miyeon added, "We want to do our best. We feel again that the five of us need to continue to grow and think things through."
Meanwhile, the group Idle drew attention last November when all members announced they had re-signed after seven years since debut, showing strong loyalty.<
