Actor Ju Jong-hyuk even received shampoo training for "Perfect Glow."
On the morning of the 6th, the tvN new variety program "Perfect Glow" press conference was held online. The press conference featured producer Kim Sang-ah along with Ra Mi-ran, Park Min-young, Ju Jong-hyuk, Cha Hong, Leo J, and Pony, who appeared and talked.
"Perfect Glow" stars representative Ra Mi-ran and deputy minister Park Min-young at the forefront, and follows Korea's top hair and makeup experts as they open a Korean-style beauty shop in Manhattan, New York, showcasing the true face of K-beauty on location in a "K-beauty New York conquest" that premieres on Nov. 8 at 10:50 p.m.
In addition to Ra Mi-ran and Park Min-young, assistant manager Ju Jong-hyuk and the "K-beauty master corps" Cha Hong, Leo J, and Pony participate, drawing attention to whether K-beauty can conquer New York.
When asked what preparations he made for "Perfect Glow," Ju Jong-hyuk opened up, "First, when you usually go to a shop they wash your hair. I learned that a bit. I learned shampooing and scalp massage a couple of times at Cha Hong's shop."
He continued, "I went to the shop I attend and washed the hair of the staff friends who take care of me and received a lot of harsh criticism. I received many complaints and was scolded almost to the point of tears and learned in a Spartan way."
When MC Park Kyung-rim asked, "What was the local reaction like?", Ju Jong-hyuk hesitated and then said, "Please check through the broadcast," prompting laughter.
Meanwhile, tvN's "Perfect Glow" premieres on the 8th at 10:50 p.m.
