Today (the 6th) airing MBC 'Save me! Homes' (directed by Jung Da-hi, Nam Yoo-jung, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Sung-nyeon / hereafter 'Homes') will send actor Ha Jae-sook and creator Kim Ddol-ddol to Yeosu, Jeollanam-do for an on-site visit.
This episode features a boat trip along the sea route as team leader Kim Sook, actor Ha Jae-sook and creator Kim Ddol-ddol embark on a very special local on-site visit to Yeosu, Jeollanam-do.
The three arrive at Nangdo ferry terminal located in Yeosu's "Yeoja-man". Kim Sook introduces it as a "custom listing for Ha Jae-sook, who has a rowing license," and reveals the show's first fishing boat listing. It attracted attention by noting that the fishing boat, previously operated by the head of the fishing cooperative, comes with a private barge as a basic option.
Ha Jae-sook, who has lived by the sea for 10 years, explains, "When looking at a fishing boat, whether it has a fishing license is important. Depending on the license, the price of the boat varies widely." In response, the captain said, "It holds a pot and coastal combined license. Fishing is possible up to Geomundo and Chodo," raising expectations.
The three take a passenger ship to the third-daughter island, "Chudo." Chudo is the smallest inhabited island among Yeosu's inhabited islands, with only three permanent residents among seven households. Also, it is a charming island that appears as two due to a gorge, notable for its emerald sea and sedimentary rock terrain.
Upon arriving at Chudo, the three visit a historic old house over 200 years old. They sit on the neat hanok porch, so well maintained that it belies its age. They were reportedly captivated by the beautiful sea in front of Chudo visible from the yard and the charm of the stone wall designated as a registered cultural property.
Next, they move to see Chudo's only precious listing. It is an abandoned branch school located mid-island, built in 1968 and said to have stood for about 57 years. The three were astonished by the structure in which the school and the teachers' quarters are attached with only a single wall between them. All eyes are on what the abandoned branch school might look like.
