This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
'I am SOLO' season 28 contestant Yeong-su agonized until the end between Hyun-suk and Jeong-suk.
On the May 5 broadcast of SBS Plus·ENA variety show 'I am SOLO' (hereafter 'I am Solo'), Yeong-su of season 28 was shown unable to let go of lingering feelings for Jeong-suk.
That day the people who won the super date passes were Yeong-su, Hyun-suk, Jeong-suk, Yeong-sik and Yeong-suk. Yeong-suk used hers on Gyeong-su, and Yeong-sik asked Yeong-ja, not Sun-ja, on a date.
Above all, everyone was curious about Yeong-su's choice. With all eyes on him, Yeong-su told Hyun-suk he would use the super date pass on Jeong-suk under the guise of 'for conversation.' When Hyun-suk was baffled, Yeong-su explained, "Instead I promise I will definitely come to you. I think my heart is already settled."
Then Hyun-suk said, "Why do you think I'll wait?" and added, "You're someone who wants to have everything. It's like saying I'll sort out my wife and come back as a mistress. Saying you'll use it on someone else yet not wanting to earn my hatred — wanting both of those things is ridiculous. It's greed. I can't shake the feeling that I'm being taken advantage of," she said angrily.
Yeong-su called Hyun-suk out again and said, "Whether I sort it out or not, I've decided, so my heart wants to go to you." But Hyun-suk said, "I feel like you played with me," adding, "I'm so angry. It feels like you're coming back like a mistress who abandoned her wife."
Also, Hyun-suk said, "Why are you the only one who doesn't know that? Why people avoid you, why they run away — are you the only one who doesn't know?" and added angrily, "You have to be someone I can trust. Aren't I the one who would choose you?" Even so, Yeong-su said, "I want to keep going straight toward you," and insisted, "I'll just talk and come back," refusing to relent.
In the end Hyun-suk went to Yeong-cheol and, in a fit of anger, used the super date pass saying, "Make me laugh," and belatedly Yeong-su changed his mind and told Hyun-suk, "I'm sorry. Let's leave together now." After a long detour Yeong-su's super date pass went to Hyun-suk. At that time Jeong-suk tried to ask Sang-cheol, not Yeong-su, but fell into deep 고민 due to Sun-ja's opposition.
Meanwhile, Yeong-su could not let go of his lingering feelings for Jeong-suk while leaving Hyun-suk behind. Frustrated by Yeong-su, Sang-cheol advised, "You have to do it right now." At that moment Jeong-suk, who appeared, surprised everyone by using the super date pass on Yeong-su.
Jeong-suk explained, "There was no one to use it on. All the love lines were taken, and it would have troubled the other women, so I just felt like having a drink and coming back." On the other hand, a startled Yeong-su said, "I was very embarrassed. On the contrary, I was very thankful. At least this gives us a chance to talk," and added, "It's not a prank of fate," as he became confused.
At the end of the video, in the preview Yeong-su confessed on his date with Jeong-suk, "You were always my first choice." Then on his date with Hyun-suk he said, "The final choice is tomorrow, but there are only two people in my heart," showing that he agonized until the end and drawing sighs.
