Singer and TV personality Lee Mi-joo is parting ways with Antenna after four years.
On the afternoon of the 6th, Antenna's official SNS account posted, "Hello, this is Antenna. First, we thank everyone who has given Mi-joo so much love and support," and added, "After sincere conversations and thorough discussions about future directions, the company and Mi-joo have decided to bring their journey to a close in November 2025," in an official statement.
It continued, "Mi-joo has impressed audiences across various fields such as music and variety shows with her own charm. The journey with Mi-joo, who has shone with her bright smile, positive energy and candid appeal, will remain a precious memory for us," and, "Please continue to show warm interest and support so Mi-joo can continue to shine in her own way. We once again thank everyone who has cared for Mi-joo," announcing the expiration of the exclusive contract.
A former member of the girl group Lovelyz, Mi-joo signed an exclusive contract with Antenna about four years ago in 2021. Since then she actively appeared on various variety shows such as Hangout With Yoo and Sixth Sense. She left Hangout With Yoo this year, and with the contract with Antenna expiring, she has parted ways with Yoo Jae-seok's circle.
Meanwhile, Antenna is an entertainment agency founded by singer Yoo Hee-yeol. It was reported that in 2023 Yoo Jae-seok acquired 2,699 shares of Antenna owned by Kakao Entertainment (a 20.7% stake) for 3 billion won, becoming the third-largest shareholder.
