NEWBEAT teamed up with a major Chinese agency as they made their comeback.
NEWBEAT (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok·Hong Min-seong·Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong·Choi Seo-hyun·Kim Tae-yang·Jo Yoon-hoo·Kim Ri-woo) recently signed a management contract with China's largest original music corporation Modern Sky (Modern Sky, 摩登天空).
This contract has attracted heated attention in the music industry as a step enabling the meeting of K-pop and C-pop (Chinese popular music). Modern Sky, a major Chinese entertainment company, currently represents about 160 artist acts and is the largest corporation in China to have released more than 600 albums. It covers diverse areas including music, publishing, artist management and event planning.
In particular, Modern Sky hosts large music festivals such as Strawberry Festival and MDSK Festival, and leads youth culture broadly around music, including fashion, media and art merchandise. Going forward, NEWBEAT will work with them to release an official album in China and engage in activities across various fields.
NEWBEAT wrapped up its performances at 'KCON' held in Japan and Los Angeles after their March debut, and stood out on the global stage by winning awards at the 2025 K-World Dream Awards. Riding that momentum, NEWBEAT, which has partnered with China's largest entertainment company, is expected to broaden connections with global fans with the goal of becoming the new "K-pop icon".
Meanwhile, NEWBEAT released their first mini album LOUDER THAN EVER today (6th) at 12 p.m. They will begin full comeback activities through a comeback showcase broadcast live at 8 p.m. the same day on SBS's official YouTube channel SBSKPOP x INKIGAYO.
