Rami-ran revealed her feelings when she was recruited as the director of a K-beauty shop.
On the morning of the 6th, the production press conference for tvN's new variety show "Perfect Glow" was held online. The press conference featured producer Kim Sang-a along with Rami-ran, Park Min-young, Joo Jong-hyuk, Cha Hong, Leo J, Pony and others who granted and talked.
"Perfect Glow" is a "K-beauty New York conquest" in which Korea's top hair and makeup experts, led by representative Rami-ran and Deputy Minister Park Min-young, open a Korean-style beauty shop in Manhattan, New York, and directly showcase the true face of K-beauty locally. It premieres on Nov. 8 (Sat.) at 10:50 p.m.
When asked about her feelings when she first received the offer to appear, Rami-ran said, "When I was first offered the format, I had a big thought of 'Why me?' I had shown a relaxed side on travel programs before, so I asked why they wanted me for K-beauty, and they said, 'You don't have to feel burdened as the director,' but honestly it felt very burdensome," she revealed.
Rami-ran laughed, "I thought I might be a burden in this kind of format, so it took me a little time to accept," and asked, "About three hours?"
Rami-ran continued, "I usually think about it for about an hour, but I think it took me about three days. I wondered if I might be jinxing it for no reason, but since it was something fresh for me, I appeared with a spirit of challenge," she said.
Meanwhile, tvN's "Perfect Glow" premieres on the 8th at 10:50 p.m.
