The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) will heat up major stadiums in Asian cities for the second consecutive year.
On the 6th, according to HYBE Music Group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co., SEVENTEEN will hold "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA" at Singapore's National Stadium on Mar. 7 next year and at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan on Mar. 21.
Singapore's National Stadium has hosted top pop stars such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Coldplay. SEVENTEEN confirmed they will hold solo concerts there for the second consecutive year as the first K-pop artist to do so, reinforcing their status as a "global top-tier artist." The Philippine Sports Stadium will host them for three consecutive years starting in 2024.
SEVENTEEN opened the spectacular curtain for the "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]" with about 54,000 spectators at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium last Sept. They then performed at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong's largest venue, thrilling about 72,600 fans. Recently, they completed a North American tour of five cities — Tacoma, Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise and Washington, D.C. — once again proving themselves to be "masters of performance."
SEVENTEEN will continue the world tour's momentum by performing at Japan's four major domes starting on the 27th. In particular, the concert at Vantelin Dome Nagoya on the 29th is expected to draw strong response from global fans as it will be broadcast live in more than 900 movie theaters across over 50 countries and regions worldwide, including Korea.
