Hollywood actress Meghan Markle, who married a British prince, is set to return after an eight-year retirement.
The Sun reported on the 5th (local time) that Meghan Markle is preparing a major acting comeback eight years after ending her Hollywood career.
According to the report, Meghan Markle is expected to join the cast of the film "Close Personal Friends," which stars Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding. Meghan is scheduled to take on a role in this film.
The work follows a famous couple and a couple of ordinary people. Meghan Markle was spotted on set at Amazon MGM Studios in Pasadena, Los Angeles, that day.
A studio official said, "This is a huge moment for Meghan, and it means she is restarting what she truly loves," and added, "She has received numerous offers, but she felt this project was the most fitting."
The official also said, "This is Meghan cautiously putting her foot back on set, and you can see how much she enjoys the return. Everyone involved is very excited, and they are keeping her participation strictly confidential." It was reported that her husband, Prince Harry, also fully supports Meghan Markle's return.
Meghan Markle appeared in films including 'Remember Me' and 'The Dangerous Boss' and gained popularity with the series 'Suits.' She later left 'Suits' after becoming engaged to Prince Harry, saying at the time, "A new chapter is opening. I feel I have done my part in this work, and I am very proud of what I have done. Now it is time to work as a team with Harry."
