The disbanded group Victon reunited after two years to celebrate their ninth anniversary.
Victon member Dohanse shared several verification photos of meeting with Victon members on his social media on the 4th. It showed the six members reunited as a full group.
The Victon members ate together at a barbecue restaurant and enjoyed a second round. However, the second round was at a café, not a drinking gathering. Dohanse shared a photo of a table with coffee and ice cream and described it as "the deadly wholesomeness of a group with an average age of 29.7," drawing attention.
In particular, Dohanse added, "I thought at least beer would be drinkable for me," and "It's a shame. We should have a drink to celebrate the ninth anniversary," provoking laughter. Although all members are adults, they spent a wholesome time with coffee and tea instead of alcohol at the ninth anniversary celebration. Other members also reposted the same photos.
When someone reacted to Victon's full-group meeting by saying, "Are they the black priests?," Dohanse replied, "Maybe our dress code was black today," which drew laughs. That was because all the members met wearing black outfits.
Victon, who debuted in 2016, began the process of disbanding in April 2023 when Dohanse, Choi Byung-chan, and Jung Soo-bin ended their management as their exclusive contracts with then-agency IST Entertainment expired. Earlier, in October 2022, member Heo Chan left the team after a drunk driving incident, and the group was reorganized into six members.
At the time, Choi Byung-chan expressed his feelings, saying, "From 2016 for seven years I was truly happy and received so much love. I learned how to receive love and, thanks to Alice, I also learned how to give love. Therefore the time we spent together was very precious and these are moments I will never forget," adding, "Now we will each walk our own paths, but this is not a sad farewell. For another new start, I will always support and love our Victon members who will become even cooler."
