Entertainer Jeon Yu-seong, who died, was said to have looked after his disciple, entertainer Kim Shin-young, 41, until his last day.
On the 5th, the YouTube channel "Rolling Thunder" featured Jo Hye-ryeon and Lee Gyeong-sil, who shared their final memories with Jeon Yu-seong under the title "Dad, have I lived well enough?"
Lee Gyeong-sil recalled the deceased, saying, "After (senior) Jeon Yu-seong passed away, there has been an endless stream of good stories. There has been no senior like that."
Jo Hye-ryeon said, "Five days before he passed, he called me. He said, 'I'm going to die soon,' so I rushed over in a panic and he was on an oxygen mask," adding, "Even though he was short of breath, he said, 'It's hard, so don't come. It's raining a lot,' worrying about his juniors first."
She continued, "That day, he gave (Kim) Shin-young an envelope. He said, 'Shin-young, put in gas,' and handed her 100,000 won," and added, "It wasn't enough once you include the tolls, but that was his heart. He was warm to the end, and there was sincerity behind the laughter."
Kim Shin-young is in a teacher-student relationship with Jeon Yu-seong. While serving as a professor in the Department of Comedy at Yewon Arts University, Jeon trained many juniors, and Kim Shin-young was one of his students.
