CORTIS performed their first concert in Japan at Tokyo Dome.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) took the stage at "MUSIC EXPO LIVE 2025" held at Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 3rd. Earlier, just three days after their debut, they were invited to this show — which gathered K-pop representative groups such as TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN as well as popular local singers — drawing attention.
The members performed four consecutive songs including the title track "What You Want," "FaSHioN," "GO!," and "JoyRide," and drew a strong response with overwhelming performances and steady vocals. Cheers and loud shouts of support echoed from seats throughout the venue, making their popularity palpable. The five members freely moved between the main stage and the runway, showing a presence that shines even more in large venues. Their stage manners, uncharacteristic of rookies, were enough to captivate local audiences.
After successfully completing official activities for their debut album in Korea, CORTIS are continuing activities in the United States and Japan. They performed "FaSHioN" on Japan's representative music show CDTV Live! Live! on the 3rd and will appear on Nippon TV's Buzz Rhythm 02 on the 7th.
The Japanese media's coverage has also been intense. Fuji TV TWO specially programmed behind-the-scenes coverage of "CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY," held in Korea on Sept. 8, to coincide with their visit. In addition, they appeared on numerous FM radio channels, including J-WAVE.
Meanwhile, according to the latest charts released by Billboard on Nov. 8, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghun, Geonho)'s debut record "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" ranked No. 3 on the world albums chart, marking its eighth consecutive week on the chart. It also ranked 40th and 31st on the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts, which track physical album sales in the U.S., respectively, demonstrating long-running popularity.<
