'Village of Lee Jang-woo 2' Jo Hye-won took on the role of cinematographer for Lee Jang-woo, who is preparing for marriage.
On the afternoon of the 4th, the final episode of the MBC variety show 'Village of Lee Jang-woo 2' aired, revealing Lee Jang-woo's efforts to set Ganghwa's best treasure table.
After completing vegetable research with Italian chef Fabri in Gangwon Province, Lee Jang-woo studied new menu items at his home in Seoul. The person filming Lee Jang-woo cooking in the kitchen was his fiancée, Jo Hye-won.
Eight-year age gap Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won will hold their wedding on Nov. 23 in a location in Seoul after seven years of dating. The two became a couple through the 2018 KBS2 drama 'My Only One'. The couple, who postponed their wedding last year, will finally tie the knot this year.
Lee Jang-woo cooked while explaining to his fiancée, and Jo Hye-won transformed into the cinematographer. Lee Jang-woo fried sweet potato jelly pancakes, and Jo Hye-won asked, "Should I buy makgeolli?" Lee Jang-woo laughed and said, "Honey~ you shouldn't drink. This is for broadcast," and Jo Hye-won said, "Uwa, it smells good."
Feeding Jo Hye-won the sweet potato jelly pancakes he made, Lee Jang-woo showed a considerate, loving side, and Jo Hye-won suggested, "I think it would be better to fry this large like a pancake and let the elders cut it with scissors to eat. It would be more convenient for the elders to cut it and eat it," offering her opinion.
Lee Jang-woo said, "Then bring this to my mother and grandmother," taking care of his future mother-in-law as well, and Jo Hye-won praised his cooking skills, saying, "The texture is amazing. It's really delicious. How is this possible?" The next dish to research was turnip kimchi dumpling soup, and Jo Hye-won offered another idea, asking, "How about making the seasoning a bit stronger? Honey~ do you remember the restaurant we went to before?"
At the end of the broadcast that day, Lee Jang-woo greeted the final guests of the treasure gourmet meeting and served the village elders.
Lee Jang-woo said he was sad, noting, "I can't believe it's the last time," and an elder asked, "You're not coming again?" Lee Jang-woo made a surprising remark, saying, "Of course I'll come again. There are many delicious things and it's a lovely island. If there is another bountiful harvest festival next year, I might bring a baby," and an elder asked, "Is that before marriage (pregnancy)?" He laughed and said, "Ah.. ah.. no. Not yet. I misspoke."
