Ha Seung-ri's family is invited to an awkward dinner.
In the 18th episode of the new KBS 1TV daily drama Marie and Her Three Daddies (directed by Seo Yong-soo, written by Kim Hong-joo), airing today (5th), Kang Mari (played by Ha Seung-ri) sits at the same table with her mother Ju Si-ra (played by Park Eun-hye), her father Kang Min-bo (played by Hwang Dong-joo) and her grandmother Yoon Soon-ae (played by Geum Bo-ra).
Earlier, Mari's relative, uncle by marriage Jin Ki-sik (played by Gong Jeong-hwan), had asked his wife Yoon Eon-kyung (played by Jo Hyang-gi) to prepare a surprise party for Mari because he thought Mari would soon become part of Um Hospital's family and it would be good to set things up in advance for his son Jin Sol (played by Jeong Han-sol). Displeased, Eon-kyung invited Min-bo without Ki-sik knowing.
In today's (5th) episode, according to Eon-kyung's scheme, Mari, Si-ra, Min-bo and Soon-ae gather in one place. Si-ra and Soon-ae glare fiercely at the unwelcome guest Min-bo, and Mari is tense and on edge as she tries to read the unexpected situation. Curiosity grows about what conversations will unfold at this awkward party.
Meanwhile, Ki-sik, who had no idea about Min-bo's invitation, looks around in confusion, and soon realizes Eon-kyung's intentions, his expression hardening.
Meanwhile, Eon-kyung, who foresaw all this, smiles proudly, dressed up to the nines, which heightens the annoyance. Her surprise, planned as an awkward meeting of the former couple out of jealousy and wounded pride toward Si-ra, draws attention to its outcome.
